Tom has broad experience advising on a range of commercial, trust and property issues. He is focused on building lasting, trusting relationships with clients, and strives to provide practical and pragmatic advice. Tom’s knowledge of the commercial world enables him to advise clients on their day to day business affairs, and any associated legal issues or requirements.

Tom’s expertise includes general aspects of corporate and commercial law:

• Business sales and acquisitions;

In June 2013 Tom rejoined Burrowes and Company, after spending 11 years at Morrison Kent. He was promoted to Partner on 1 January 2014. Tom first commenced his legal career with Burrowes and Company in 2000, as a staff solicitor. He graduated from Victoria University with an LLB/BA. Tom is a member of the NZLS Property Law Section.
